Check and prove
Audit your I-9s
Every form checked in code against dated USCIS and ICE rules: each defect with its box and the fix, the reverification calendar, what to purge, a correction memo per form and a signed record.
The steps
- 1Check every form
- 2Build the correction memos
Who it's for
The HR generalist or owner with a drawer of paper I-9s, counsel running an audit, or a buyer in due diligence.
What they do today
Pay an audit service per form, or read every form by hand against the M-274.
The moment it earns its keep
Each form's defects with the box highlighted and the rule quoted, and the correction steps in USCIS's words.
What it never does
- It never suggests asking an employee for specific documents, or for more documents than the Lists require.
- It never suggests backdating, re-creating a form as if it were original, or hiding a correction.
- It never judges anyone's immigration status or whether a document is genuine: it reads what is written on the form.
- It never gives your files a pass: it reports the defects found in the fields it checked.
- It never contacts employees, opens E-Verify cases or changes a form: you or your lawyer decide every fix.
It isn't legal advice and doesn't say anything is “compliant”. It shows the rule it applied, with the date we checked it.
