Acceptable use policy
Effective 11 October 2026. Decosa, Inc., a Delaware corporation.
This policy is part of our terms. It applies to everything on decosa.ai, the API, Studio and the tools, whether you use them through the site, an API key or an agent.
The short version
- Use Decosa for lawful work. Don't use it to hurt, deceive or exploit anyone.
- Nothing that sexualises or depicts real children. Nothing showing a real person without their consent.
- Don't attack the service or game its limits.
- See something wrong? Write to security@decosa.ai.
1. Don't harm people
Don't use Decosa to make, send or help with:
- anything illegal where you or the people affected are;
- harassment, threats, stalking, hate, or praise or support for violent extremism;
- fraud, scams, phishing, spam, or malware;
- weapons that can kill many people (biological, chemical, nuclear or radiological), or serious instructions for violence;
- content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
2. Children
- Never any content that sexualises a minor. We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities as the law requires.
- Don't upload pictures, video or voice of a real child, or make content that depicts one. Stories with children are paused in Studio.
- Decosa is for adults: don't let a child use your account or keys.
3. Real people, voices and likeness
- Don't make sexual or intimate images, video or audio of a real person.
- Don't put a real person's face, body or voice into anything without their consent, and don't clone a voice without the speaker's recorded consent.
- Don't pretend to be someone else, or pass off AI output as a real recording of a real event.
- Don't remove or alter the content credentials and labels that mark Studio media as made with AI.
4. Data you send
- Only send data you have the right to use, and that the people it is about would expect you to use this way.
- Don't put patient records or other protected health information into hosted tools. Run the tool on your own hardware for those.
- Don't send other people's passwords, keys or secrets.
5. Decisions about people
Don't let Decosa's output decide on its own whether someone gets a job, a loan, housing, insurance, medical care, a benefit or a legal outcome. A qualified person must review the output and make the decision, and you must follow the laws that apply to those decisions.
6. Don't abuse the service
- Don't make many keys or accounts to get around limits, and don't resell or share free usage or keys.
- Don't scrape the site or the API in bulk, or flood it with requests.
- Don't probe, scan or attack our systems, or try to reach anyone else's data. Security research is welcome under our security policy.
- Don't get around rate limits, safety checks or the parts of a tool that keep a person in the loop.
7. What we do about it
If we find a breach, we may remove content, refuse a run, revoke keys, or suspend or close the account, depending on how serious it is. Where we can, we explain why and give you a chance to fix it. We cooperate with lawful requests from the authorities.
8. Report abuse
Report abuse, harmful content or a misuse of Decosa to security@decosa.ai, or to support@decosa.ai. Include a link, a run or record id, or a screenshot if you have one. A person reads every report and replies within 3 business days. For a security hole, see security.
9. Copyright complaints
If you think something on Decosa infringes your copyright, write to legal@decosa.ai with: what the work is; where it appears on Decosa; your contact details; a statement that you believe in good faith the use isn't authorised; a statement that your notice is accurate and that you own the right or may act for its owner; and your signature. We look into every complete notice and remove infringing material.
