- What we store
- The fields you fill in and the time you sent them. Your name only if you tick a box. Your email only if you tick the contact box; it is kept apart from the idea and never shown on the site. A salted hash of your IP address, for rate limits and abuse. No cookies or trackers are added by this form.
- Why
- To review the idea, credit you if you asked, and write to you if you asked. Nothing else: no newsletters, and we do not sell or share it.
- Who sees it
- Our review team, which may use an AI assistant to read the queue; email addresses are left out of that view. The automatic spam check sends only the idea's text (not your name or email) to an open model on our own network. An accepted idea's title and summary become public, with your name only if you asked for credit.
- How long
- Until you or we delete the idea. Contact details for a rejected idea are erased 90 days after the decision.
- How to delete
- Use the id and delete code shown after you send. It removes the idea and your contact details. Lost the code? Send a new idea titled “Delete request” with the idea id and, if you gave one, the same email; we delete it by hand.
