# Decosa > Applied AI on open models: tools that each do one real job (check a brief, run the visit, fill a form), and the open > models under them, by API in the OpenAI format. Every hosted model call returns a receipt signed with Decosa's key. > 86 tools. Use them hosted, or, on request, self-host them on your own hardware. Site: https://decosa.ai (canonical; cite these URLs). This file is the index; [/llms-full.txt](https://decosa.ai/llms-full.txt) adds every tool with its details and the API routes. ## Start here - Base URL: `https://api.decosa.ai` (the OpenAI chat format under `/v1`, so any OpenAI SDK works with `base_url` set to `https://api.decosa.ai/v1`). - Auth: `Authorization: Bearer dk_…` on every call. - Key: create one at [API keys](https://decosa.ai/account/keys). It is shown once; store it as `DECOSA_API_KEY`. A new key has a free budget of $0.02 of hosted usage a day at list price, reset every UTC day. Past it, calls get HTTP 402 until the next UTC day, or until the key has credits. A key with credits has no daily cap. - First call: ```bash curl -s -i https://api.decosa.ai/v1/chat/completions \ -H "Authorization: Bearer $DECOSA_API_KEY" \ -H "Content-Type: application/json" \ -d '{"model": "qwen3.8-27b", "messages": [{"role": "user", "content": "Hello"}]}' ``` - Receipt: the response header `x-decosa-receipt` holds the receipt id; `GET https://api.decosa.ai/receipts/` returns the signed record. [What a receipt proves](https://decosa.ai/docs/receipts). - Credits: One credit is $1 of usage at list price: hosted API calls, the coding agent, Studio and tool runs all draw on the same balance. Bought with US dollars, by card. Not transferable, and no cash value. They last 12 months from purchase. Usage is metered from each call's signed receipt; your ledger shows every debit and the receipt behind it. Requests stop when the balance reaches zero, and we email you before that. At zero credits the API answers HTTP 402; over a rate limit, 429 with `Retry-After`. - [Quickstart](https://decosa.ai/docs) ([markdown](https://decosa.ai/docs.md)): key, call, receipt, verify, with no browser. ## Machine-readable - [/api/catalog.json](https://decosa.ai/api/catalog.json): every tool (86), with its home, status, verification, data handling and links (page, JSON, metrics, prompts). Schema 1. - [/api/contract.json](https://decosa.ai/api/contract.json) (route index) and [/api/contract.md](https://decosa.ai/api/contract.md) (the full API contract; the source of truth). - [/api/metrics.json](https://decosa.ai/api/metrics.json): per tool, the eval summary (split, held out or not, caveats, date), cost per run and models. - `/use-cases/.json`: one tool in full (stack, tiers, samples, data handling, prompt URLs), e.g. [/use-cases/clinical.json](https://decosa.ai/use-cases/clinical.json). - `/prompts/-hosted.md`, `/prompts/-selfhost.md`, `/prompts/-assemble.md`: copy-paste prompts for a coding agent. Each tool's are in catalog.json `links.prompts` (null where a tool has none). - [/api/hardware.json](https://decosa.ai/api/hardware.json): device specs and each tool's memory needs, for self-hosting. - [/llms-full.txt](https://decosa.ai/llms-full.txt): this index plus every tool, its details and the API routes. - [For AI agents](https://decosa.ai/agents): stable selectors, deep links, rate limits and what agents may drive. ## Homes - [Legal](https://decosa.ai/legal): Briefs, depositions, discovery, records, client calls. - [Healthcare](https://decosa.ai/clinics): The visit, then notes, audits and denials. - [Finance & insurance](https://decosa.ai/tools/finance): Alerts, SARs, disputes, claims, recorded calls. - [HR](https://decosa.ai/hr): Investigations, leave and I-9 audits. - [Compliance & trust](https://decosa.ai/industries/compliance-trust): Security questionnaires, control evidence, AI audits. - [Operations](https://decosa.ai/tools/operations): Forms, shop pages, imports, listings: any industry. - [Life sciences](https://decosa.ai/tools/life-sciences): Trial numbers, safety cases, labels, papers. - [Create](https://decosa.ai/studio): Stories, songs and dubs, made with consent and labelled as AI. - [Developers](https://decosa.ai/developers): Add Decosa to the coding agent you already use, move prompts to open models with evidence, and prove what your AI did. - More industries: [Public sector](https://decosa.ai/industries/public-sector), [Sales and marketing](https://decosa.ai/industries/sales-marketing), [Science and research](https://decosa.ai/industries/science-research), [Music](https://decosa.ai/industries/music), [Film, TV and games](https://decosa.ai/industries/entertainment). - [All tools](https://decosa.ai/tools): filters in the query string, e.g. `/tools?industry=legal&deploy=selfhost`. ## Docs Each docs page is also plain markdown at the same path plus `.md`. - [Quickstart](https://decosa.ai/docs) ([markdown](https://decosa.ai/docs.md)) - [API reference](https://decosa.ai/docs/api) ([markdown](https://decosa.ai/docs/api.md)) - [Receipts and verification](https://decosa.ai/docs/receipts) ([markdown](https://decosa.ai/docs/receipts.md)) - [Sealed tier (paused at launch)](https://decosa.ai/docs/sealed-tier) ([markdown](https://decosa.ai/docs/sealed-tier.md)) - [Self-hosting](https://decosa.ai/docs/self-host) ([markdown](https://decosa.ai/docs/self-host.md)) ## Trust - [Where your data goes](https://decosa.ai/data): per tool, what stays on your machine when self-hosted, what the hosted service processes, retention, and every outside call. - Hosted calls travel encrypted to Decosa's API server; the open models are run by NEAR AI through OpenRouter, with Reka AI as the only fallback, under Decosa's account and with zero data retention. Nothing is used for training. [Hosted API](https://decosa.ai/developers#serving): who serves each model. - Hosted video input, hosted renders other than UGC ads, live speech recognition, speaker separation, document reading, retrieval and the sealed tier are off at launch; their tool pages show recorded runs. About [the sealed tier](https://decosa.ai/docs/sealed-tier). - [Verify a run](https://decosa.ai/docs/receipts): what a signed receipt proves, and what it doesn't. - [Accuracy](https://decosa.ai/metrics): eval results and cost per run for every tool. [Status](https://decosa.ai/status): every hosted model and service. [Security](https://decosa.ai/security). - [Terms](https://decosa.ai/terms) · [Privacy](https://decosa.ai/privacy) · [Acceptable use](https://decosa.ai/acceptable-use) · [AI notice](https://decosa.ai/ai-notice). ## Self-host - [Self-host](https://decosa.ai/self-host): run a tool on your own GPU with Docker Compose, or [on a Mac](https://decosa.ai/self-host/mac). The source code and container images are not public yet: self-host is on request ([ask here](https://decosa.ai/contact?topic=self-host)). - [Will it run on my hardware?](https://decosa.ai/self-host/hardware): pick a GPU, Mac or cloud box and see which tools fit. - [Self-hosting docs](https://decosa.ai/docs/self-host) ([markdown](https://decosa.ai/docs/self-host.md)). ## Apps by Decosa - [Everdust](https://decosa.ai/family#everdust): Calm 3D worlds that hear music.
